The Chelsea Ceiling Light is named for The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Chelsea is an affluent area in west London, situated southwest of the City of Westminster. It lies on the north bank of the River Thames. Its exclusivity is mainly due to high property prices. In the ’70s the term “Sloane Ranger” was coined to describe some of its residents. Chelsea contains major museums, universities, and department stores such as Harrods, Peter Jones, and Harvey Nichols. The borough is home to the Notting Hill Carnival which is Europe’s largest. The Chelsea Ceiling Light was designed by Shah Gilani, ISFD, for use in entryways, hallways, foyers, and chambers. With its timeless elegance and Art Deco undertones, it makes an exceptional light for high-end residential and hospitality interiors. The frame of this light is made by a casting process. Molten metal is poured into a sand mold which be used only once. This exquisite luminaire is available in multiple sizes and offered in a variety of finishes and accents. Custom sizing is available.

Ours is an artisanal product made in a traditional and non-mechanized way. We are able to design and manufacture ceiling lights ranging in style from traditional through art nouveau and art deco, to modern and contemporary. One of the special services we offer is the ability to customize our product to fit the client’s specification. Drawings are made and finish samples prepared for client approval. Custom work is our specialty.
