Branches Dining Table (Round)

Description

The Branches Dining Table is made by a casting process, which is an ancient technique for making sculptures. Molten metal is poured into a mold that can be used only once. Upon cooling the rough casting is removed from the mold and smoothed by a skilled craftsman. This a long and laborious process requiring great expertise and attention to detail. The polished casting then receives one of our hand-applied multi-layer finishes. The result is a table base which looks more like a work of art. Shah Gilani, ISFD, designed this robust table base using stylized metal tree branches. Its sturdy construction allows the base to support the heaviest tops without flexing. The Branches Dining Table Base can be customized to support a top of any shape or size, including a large rectangular, oval, or racetrack shaped top.

Ours is an artisanal product made in a traditional and non-mechanized way. We are able to design and manufacture dining room furniture ranging in style from traditional through art nouveau and art deco, to modern and contemporary. One of the special services we offer is the ability to customize our product to fit the client’s specification. Drawings are made and finish samples prepared for client approval. Custom work is our specialty.
