Helix Coffee Table

Description

The Helix Coffee Table was inspired by the vines of tropical rainforests that climb up the trunks of trees to reach the sunlight that only the forest canopy gets. With its timeless elegance, it makes an exceptional cocktail table for upscale residential and hospitality interiors. The table base is made by a casting process. Molten metal is poured into a sand mold which can be used only once. The rough casting is then painstakingly smoothed by hand by a skilled craftsman. This is a long and laborious process. The base then receives a hand-applied multilayer finish. A variety of finishes are available. The final coat the finished table receives is a polyurethane sealer which protects it against aberration. Robust metal construction allows the base to support a heavy table top without flexing. Four polished bronze glides are provided which also serve as levelers – a useful feature to have when the floor is uneven. Custom sizing is available. The Helix Coffee Table was designed by Shah Gilani, ISFD.

Ours is an artisanal product made in a traditional and non-mechanized way. We are able to design and manufacture coffee tables ranging in style from traditional through art nouveau and art deco, to modern and contemporary. One of the special services we offer is the ability to customize our product to fit the client’s specification. Drawings are made and finish samples prepared for client approval. Custom work is our specialty.
