The design of the Waves Three Drawer Dresser was inspired by furniture of the Art Deco Period. Art Deco is an international decorative style initially known as “le style moderne” or “Jazz Moderne.” It got its current name from the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes held in Paris in 1925. Art Deco design is characterized by sleek, geometric shapes, and the use of man-made materials. Featuring bold colors, strong geometry, luxurious textures, and even more luxurious materials, Art Deco is a century-old aesthetic that couldn’t feel fresher today. Its bold and exuberant colors, decadent high-end finishes, and exotic motifs have surged back into the popular imagination. Currently it is hugely influential with contemporary designers.

The Waves Three Drawer Dresser is entirely hand-made of wood. It sits on a metal base which is made by a casting process. Molten metal is poured into a mold which can be used only once. The rough casting is smoothed by meticulous filing by a skilled craftsman. This is a long and laborious process requiring great attention to detail. Drawers are Melamine-lined and run on soft-closing slides. This exquisite cabinet was designed by Shah Gilani, ISFD. It is offered in a variety of finishes and accents. Custom sizing is available.

Ours is an artisanal product made in a traditional and non-mechanized way. We are able to design and manufacture bar furniture ranging in style from traditional through art nouveau and art deco, to modern and contemporary. One of the special services we offer is the ability to customize our product to fit the client’s specification. Drawings are made and finish samples prepared for client approval.
