The design of the Venice Eight Drawer Chest was inspired by Venetian architecture. Venice, the capital of the Veneto, has a rich and diverse architectural style, the most famous of which is the Gothic style. Venetian Gothic architecture is a term given to a Venetian building style which combines the Gothic lancet arch with Byzantine and Ottoman influences. This chest is a fusion of both Byzantine and Islamic forms overlaid on a Latin Christian foundation. Entirely hand carved in rosewood, it has Melamine-lined drawers which run on the finest quality drawer slides. The drawer pulls are hand-forged polished bronze. Six polished bronze glides are provided which also serve as levelers – a useful feature when the floor is uneven. The Venice Eight Drawer Chest makes an exceptional dresser for upscale residential and hospitality interiors. This exquisitely executed piece is offered in a variety of finishes and accents. It is shown here in our Crackled Sand finish with Antique Gilt accents. Custom sizing is available.

We are able to design and manufacture case goods ranging in style from traditional through art nouveau and art deco, to modern and contemporary. One of the special services we offer is the ability to customize our product to fit the client’s specification. Drawings are made and finish samples prepared for client approval. Custom work is our specialty.
