Berliner Headboard was designed with the modern European lifestyle in view. It is aptly named for Berlin which is the creative workshop of Germany, a trendsetter and a capital of fashion, design, and music. The progressive spirit of optimism that engulfed the reunified city was, and still is, astounding. Hundreds of backyard art studios emerged from the shadows and art soon began to take over streets, the walls of buildings, and even entire districts.

The Berliner Headboard was designed by Shah Gilani, ISFD. It is available in king and queen sizes, and offered in a variety of finishes and accents. The material used to manufacture this exquisite piece is the finest rosewood. Carving is done entirely by hand by master craftsmen. This headboard can also be made as a complete bed, by special order, with footboard and side rails. Upholstery is in COM which can be specified with or without tufting. With its modern elegance it makes an exceptional headboard for upscale residential and hospitality interiors. Custom sizing is available.

Ours is an artisanal product made in a traditional and non-mechanized way. We are able to design and manufacture beds and headboards ranging in style from traditional through art nouveau and art deco, to modern and contemporary. One of the special services we offer is the ability to customize our product to fit the client’s specification. Drawings are made and finish samples prepared for client approval. Custom work is our specialty.
