The design of the Rancho Mirage Headboard was inspired by furniture of Spanish Colonial villas. Such furniture was a combination of solid construction demanded by the new environment and Baroque ornamentation exported from Spain. Spanish colonial and revival furniture is defined by beautiful curves, ornate carvings, a classic appearance, and the inclusion of silk, leather, and wood. It is closer to the baroque than it is to the neo-classical design philosophy. In keeping with the tradition of Spanish colonial style the frame of Rancho Mirage Headboard headboard is made of the finest dark wood. All carving is done entirely by hand by a skilled craftsman. The headboard is available in king and queen sizes. It is offered in a variety of finishes and accents. Upholstery is in COM which can be specified with or without tufting. With its colonial style elegance, it makes an exceptional headboard for upscale residential and hospitality interiors. Custom sizing is available. This monumental piece is shipped in a wood crate to minimize risk of damage during transportation. The crate is made of recycled wood. Steel cleats are provided for attachment to the wall. We are able to design and manufacture beds and headboards ranging in style from traditional through art nouveau and art deco, to modern and contemporary. One of the special services we offer is the ability to customize our product to fit the client’s specification. Drawings are made and finish samples prepared for client approval. Custom work is our specialty.
