Description

The design of the Twisted Leaf Dining Table (Rectangular) was inspired by the gardens of ancient Roman villas, especially Villa d’Este. The pair of bases take their shapes from those of urns. The stylized foliage is reminiscent of the laurel trees of Tivoli. The table bases are made by a casting process. Molten metal is poured into a sand mold which can be used only once. The rough casting is then smoothed by a master craftsman. This is a long and laborious process requiring attention to detail and great skill. The final product receives a multi-layer hand-applied finish. Top options include various glass sizes. Exuding timeless elegance, the Twisted Leaf Table (Rectangular) makes an exceptional dining room table in upscale residential and hospitality interiors. Robust metal construction allows the pair of bases to support a heavy top without flexing. The papillon detail on the leaf may be deleted upon request. Offered in a variety of finishes and accents. Custom sizing is available.
